Roy Austin Appointed to Los Angeles Police Commission’s Advisory Committee on Building Trust and Equity

On Thursday, July 30th, HWG partner Roy Austin was appointed to the Los Angeles Police Commission’s Advisory Committee on Building Trust and Equity by Mayor Eric Garcetti. The Committee is part of a larger series of reforms introduced by the LA Board of Police Commissioners, and consists of policy specialists, legal experts, and community leaders who will aid the Police Commission in conducting a review of LAPD procedures and policies. The Committee will also deliver recommendations for additional reforms.
