Kent Bressie speaks about new FCC submarine cable protection initiatives at the 2015 plenary meeting of the International Cable Protection Committee in Hong Kong
At the 2015 plenary meeting of the International Cable Protection Committee held in Hong Kong from April 28-30, 2015, HWG partner Kent Bressie spoke about new submarine cable protection initiatives undertaken by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”). His presentation focused on the report of the FCC’s Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability Council regarding protection of submarine cables through spatial separation from other marine activities, of which he was the principal author.
