RALEIGH, NC—HWG LLP welcomes Jackie Terry Hughes, an experienced litigator and advisor to major corporations on risk management and prevention, as partner based in the firm’s Raleigh office.

“I am excited to welcome Jackie and her clients to HWG and our growing Raleigh office,” said HWG Managing Partner Jennifer Bagg. “Her experience providing corporate counsel and advising businesses on risk management and fleet safety, as well as her strong litigation background deepens our firm’s expertise in these areas and makes her an exciting addition.”

“We are thrilled to have Jackie join HWG,” said Amy Richardson, Managing Partner of HWG’s Raleigh office. “She is an exceptional attorney who cares deeply about her clients and our North Carolina community. Her blend of practical, client-oriented advice and entrepreneurial spirit is a perfect match with our expanding practice in Raleigh.”

Ms. Terry Hughes joins HWG from JTH Law, a boutique law firm she founded to provide thoughtful, innovative counsel to clients on risk management issues. For more than a decade, Ms. Terry Hughes has advised international pharmaceutical and consumer health care entities at JTH Law. In this role, she oversees and manages litigation and counsels her clients on fleet safety and strategies to mitigate injuries. Prior to founding JTH Law, Ms. Terry Hughes served as a partner for nearly a decade at an AmLaw 100 firm, where she represented companies in state and federal trials.

“HWG is not your traditional law firm. It is a collective of exceptionally bright attorneys that do business and lawyering differently. They have been intentional about achieving Mansfield Certification, which is something I deeply respect, and their client approach is forward thinking and creative. These are just a few of the reasons that I am thrilled to be a part of their team. I am excited to work with Amy and leverage the support of a full-service law firm to grow the Raleigh office.” Ms. Hughes commented.
