Landyn Rookard is an associate at Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis LLP, where his practice includes work on litigation and investigations, telecommunications, and privacy, security, and data governance matters.
Mr. Rookard litigates a diverse array of issues in state and federal courts and arbitration tribunals. In his telecommunications practice, Mr. Rookard provides compliance advice and assists clients with drafting comment submissions for FCC rulemakings regarding universal service programs, wireless emergency location requirements, and caller ID authentication measures. Mr. Rookard also provides compliance and strategic planning advice regarding state and federal privacy, consumer protection, and data security requirements.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Rookard clerked for the Honorable Jane E. Magnus-Stinson and the Honorable Mark J. Dinsmore, both of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he was a member of the Indiana Law Journal. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Pacific Lutheran University. He is a co-author of the Fourth Edition of the Administrative Law and Practice casebook, forthcoming July 2020 with Carolina Academic Press.
