Landyn Rookard assists technology and communications companies by evaluating their privacy and data security practices and developing pragmatic solutions to comply with state, federal, and international regulations. Landyn also assists with written advocacy and strategic planning before the Federal Communications Commission and other agencies.

Landyn previously served as a staff attorney at the U.S. Sentencing Commission, where he advised the agency on the contours of its statutory authority and assisted in implementing COVID return-to-work protocols. He has authored books and articles on administrative and judicial procedure and recently served as an adjunct professor in administrative law at Indiana University Maurer School of Law.

Before entering practice, Landyn clerked for the Honorable Jane E. Magnus-Stinson and the Honorable Mark J. Dinsmore, both of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he was a member of the Indiana Law Journal. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Pacific Lutheran University.
