Thomas B. Mason and Andrew Siff of Siff & Associates PLLC presented “For Lawyers Who Lobby (and Their Firms): Legal Ethics and Unauthorized Practice Update” at the District of Columbia Bar. The program covered ethics issues specifically related to lawyers and lobbying; including the various lobbying scenarios that are covered by the ethics rules, particular special conflict rules for lobbying engagements, and other ethical standards in the applicable DC Rules of Professional Conduct and relevant statutory requirements.
