Partner Kent Bressie to Speak About Pacific-Region Submarine Cable Regulation at PTC’14 in Honolulu, Hawaii
Wiltshire & Grannis LLP (“W&G”) partner Kent Bressie will speak on regulatory issues at Pacific Telecommunications Council’s PTC’14 conference to be held in Honolulu, Hawaii, from January 19 to 22, 2014.
As part of PTC’14’s Submarine Cable Workshop, Kent will address regulatory developments in the Pacific region and the impact of these developments on undersea cable investment, supply, and operation.
Kent is an expert on telecommunications regulation and international trade and investment and leads W&G’s international practice. He regularly represents undersea cable operators, wireline and wireless carriers, and infrastructure suppliers in all aspects of their businesses, including communications and environmental permitting, market access and foreign investment, national security and law enforcement, export controls and economic sanctions, and the law of the sea. He has extensive experience representing submarine cable operators in the Pacific region, having worked on projects in American Samoa, Australia, China, Colombia, Fiji, Guam, French Polynesia, Independent Samoa, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Marshall Islands, Malaysia, Micronesia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, Taiwan, and the United States.

PTC ’14 will continue this tradition by featuring industry workshops, roundtables, and panel discussions focused on the theme “New World, New Strategies.”
